St. Mary Magdalene and the Royal House of New Bethany
St. Mary Magdalene carries a unique inheritance, one of profound grace and mystery.
Mystical France is a model of lived experience. It is grounded in the Catholic faith and sacraments, True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the combined spirituality of St. Joan of Arc and St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and the philosophical insights of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross who is known in the world of philosophy as Edith Stein. This model can help anyone interested in making their journey to the Kingdom of God in the company of Mary and the rest of the saints. The specifics of one's journey will differ, of course, but the road is the same. When we travel together, we each have our own experience of the journey, but the pathway is the same.
As demonstrated in the systematic flow of this model, we have a course to follow with the aid of the saints. Edith Stein refers to this as moving from potency to act; there is something unchanging flowing through the substrate of our life and with the grace of God we come to know it, to be it, and to recognize it as our own substance. This course to our true self is our spiritual journey. Mystical France is a model designed just for the purpose of helping us make this journey as Our Lord and Our Lady would desire.
In Mystical France we have a true family in the Heavenly Feast of the Tabernacles. We have a Heavenly Queen in the universal Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a royal lineage through St. Mary Magdalene.
Through the silent Being of Magdalene’s glory bestowed by the Holy Trinity, that royal lineage comes forth from the substrate of objective truth running through our lives. Our Lord taught us to pray that the Father's Kingdom would come, His will would be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. That will and Kingdom actualized through the spirituality of Mystical France is of a royal household of “New Bethany” bequeathed to St. Mary Magdalene, truly the faithful sister of Jesus and Mary from the foot of the cross to the tomb of the resurrection to the shores of Provence.
It is from St. Mary Magdalene that we, on our behalf as mere and miserable sinners, receive our royal inheritance in Mystical France. It is to this supernatural “crowning” in the royal line of New Bethany that Joan of Arc guides us through the phenomenology of the silent Being of Mystical France. We are spiritual Kings and Queens of France by a supernatural act of grace through the combined hearts of St. Joan and St. Thérèse.
