S1E6

In this episode, I outline three spiritual principles forming the context of The House of New Bethany. These principles are based on the life of St. Thérèse of Lisieux as described in the book, Written in Heaven: The Life on Earth of the Little Flower of Lisieux. Amy Chase, my co-host at Heroic Hearts - a podcast on the lives of St. Joan and St. Thérèse - recommended this book I had never seen before. I highly recommend it, too! Chapter VII, covering the early months of Thérèse’s life in Carmel, struck me as a ready-made spiritual outline for the work I have been doing in general and for The House of New Bethany in particular. Three spiritual principles revealed themselves to me, and I want to share them with you. They will be the foundational principles that help us attain our vision of creating a home for Jesus and Mary in our hearts, a New Bethany, and a place of friendship pleasing to them.

As mentioned above, I also co-host a podcast with Amy Chase on St. Joan of Arc and St. Thérèse of Lisieux.
